'Tis The Season! Well, Almost.

Christmas carols and candy canes at the grocery store, making holiday plans with the family over Facebook, holiday decorations at the mall... Just like home, as soon as Halloween is over, Christmas season has begun! And no one is more excited than me and my roommates. :D We spent our afternoon decorating our dorm room, and then took some pictures to share the spirit of the season. Enjoy!

First, we updated our door by adding snowflake paper to our window and a lovely red ribbon.

Then we replaced last month's orange-ghost-hanging-from-a-suitcase with this month's Santa-Claus-head-hanging-from-a-suitcase.

For some sparkle around the room, we used thumbtacks to hang ornaments near our beds.

My roommate Peiling, who was the one who had purchased all these decorations, also came home with a fabulous M&M dispenser. And a snowman, of course!

We also decorated two small Christmas trees with some candy canes I found at the grocery store yesterday and tiny baubles. I love these!

Using more thumbtacks, two different kinds of tape, some wall hangers and brute force, we managed to drape a few decorations diagonally across the room as well...

We put this snowflake by the window; haven't checked yet, but I'm hoping we'll be able to see it from outside!
And last but not least, it's always good to celebrate a little when you look in the mirror, right? Thus, we stuck this last ribbon above ours.

Happy Christmas season, everyone!! If you're like my mother and are already in the mood for Christmas music, check out these awesome playlists:

Happy (early) Holidays from all of us!
